Planning of a New Topcoat Line with Alternative Energy Concepts (H₂)

Responsible for the strategic project management and conceptual planning of a new premium-segment topcoat line. The scope included technical concept development, evaluation of greenfield and retrofit scenarios, and the development of a business case model, including ROI and payback calculations.

Based on this, a comprehensive business case for management was prepared, along with the development of all permitting and environmental documentation in accordance with BAT (Best Available Techniques) and EU emissions regulations.

The project also involved coordination with environmental authorities, technical and economic evaluation of various implementation pathways, and coordination of all interfaces between engineering, production, maintenance, environmental management, and permitting to optimally align technical feasibility, economic viability, and regulatory approval.

Following project approval, the implementation phase commenced: preparation of detailed technical specifications, bidder lists, market inquiries, and tender documentation, as well as technical clarifications. This was followed by bid evaluation, technical comparison, and the preparation of the award recommendation, culminating in a procurement-ready submission.
